‘I edited a few of these because they were U.S.-focused. Funnily enough, I have been to Europe because I am British. “High school” becomes 6th-form college, “Lemonade stand” becomes washing cars, Mexico becomes France, and so on. Sadly we don’t have an equivalent to “Spirit Day” (I had to look that up), so I removed that altogether.

Oh, and yes - my lack of romantic experience is woeful. I am already quite aware of this.’
